On the 25th, two new molybdenum-red Dongfeng Hercules trucks were delivered to Inner Mongolia Mengkai Auto Sales Group Co., Ltd. at the Ronghua service station of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company, Shiyan City. Different from the general “Herculesâ€, the two new vehicles have for the first time been remanufactured by Dongfeng Auto Transmission Co., Ltd., at the dealer’s request. So far, Dongfeng 14-speed gearbox has carried out nearly 20 sets of replacement tests in various provinces and regions across the country, and has made further preparations for the complete vehicle matching with Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles.
In December 2008, Dongfeng 14-speed heavy-duty gearbox officially went offline at the Transmission Company, with initial volume production capacity. This highly promising new gearbox showed good performance in subsequent test installations.
After learning about the excellent performance of the Dongfeng 14-speed gearbox, Inner Mongolia Mengkai Group dispatched people to the transmission company for inspection in early April. Combining the abundant open grass minerals in Inner Mongolia and the urgent need for the actual situation of heavy-duty transport vehicles that can independently climb out of open pits and fuel-efficient performance, Mengkai Group decided to purchase two Dongfeng Hercules heavy trucks. After changing the Dongfeng 14-speed gearbox for the two “Herculesâ€, Mengkai Group will focus on promoting it to users in the mining area.
