Forty-Thousand Dollars Raised at Nationwide Boiler's 40th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

**Fremont, CA, May 20, 2021** NATIONWIDE BOILER INC., a global leader in providing temporary and permanent boiler systems, proudly announced today the successful outcomes of their 40th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held earlier this month in Pebble Beach, CA. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, which forced the postponement of last year's event, Nationwide Boiler managed to host a safe and impactful gathering that brought in approximately two-thirds of the usual turnout. This year’s event did away with traditional in-person banquets, but still managed to raise an incredible $40,000, which will be shared between two worthy causes: Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area and the ABMA Randy Rawson Scholarship Fund. The tournament spanned two days, starting with a practice round at The Links at Spanish Bay, followed by the main competition at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links. Participants had the chance to contribute to the fundraising efforts through hole sponsorships, various sponsorship opportunities, competitive games such as a four-man scramble and two-man best ball, mulligan sales, and raffle tickets. Additionally, for the first time ever, Nationwide Boiler introduced an online auction, offering participants both near and far the ability to bid on exclusive items. Although the absence of in-person banquets reduced some revenue streams, the introduction of the online auction opened new avenues for engagement and donations. Comprised of customers, suppliers, and members of the boiler industry, the group came together to support these two remarkable organizations while continuing Nationwide Boiler's long-standing tradition of giving back to the community. Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area, one of the largest chapters in the nation, has been fulfilling the dreams of critically ill children aged 2½ to 18 since its establishment in 1984. Covering 17 counties in Northern California, the organization has granted over 8,500 wishes to date and typically fulfills close to 400 wishes annually. The Randy Rawson Scholarship Fund, established by the American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA), aims to encourage careers in boiler engineering and fabrication. It provides financial assistance for post-secondary education or technical training to high school graduates pursuing careers in the boiler, combustion, and related equipment industries. Since its inception, the ABMA has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to deserving students. Headquartered in Fremont, CA, Nationwide Boiler Inc. has been delivering innovative boiler solutions to industrial clients for nearly 55 years. Beyond their core business, the company actively contributes to the community through initiatives like food and clothing drives, participation in local events, and generous donations to charitable organizations.
