Jiangxi Province's former Ministry of Land and Resources released a suspended sentence after he was released from prison

According to Xinhua News Agency, who was once sentenced to imprisonment for corruption, Gong Fujin, former director of the Land and Resources Bureau of Ji’an County in Jiangxi Province, received bribes from others during the bail pending trial and his release from prison. On July 25th, Ji'an County People’s Court sentenced Gong Fujin to two years’ imprisonment for a bribery offence and a suspended sentence for three years.

Gong Fujin was originally a deputy chief of the Ji'an County Land and Resources Bureau. In October 2005, he was sentenced by the court to two years’ imprisonment for accepting bribes. In July 2005, Gong Fujin was released on bail pending trial. After being released from the detention center a few days later, Lee thanked Gong Fujin for his “care” and gave Gong Fujin RMB 10,000, which he called “compression”.

The court also found out that in 2008, shortly after Gong Fujin’s release from prison, Lee once again subsidized Gong Fujin’s purchase of a house and the children’s reading, and gave him RMB 20,000 to be “satisfied”.

According to this, the court made the above judgment in accordance with law.
