Magnetic flap level gauge is prone to failures and causes

Usually we say that the magnetic flap level gauge (also known as the magnetic float level gauge) is developed based on the buoyancy principle and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the measured container rises and falls, the magnetic float in the body tube of the liquid level gauge also rises and falls, and the magnetic steel in the float is transmitted to the magnetic flip column indicator through magnetic coupling, and the red and white flip columns are turned over by 180°. When the liquid level rises, the column changes from white to red. When the liquid level drops, the column changes from red to white. The red-white junction of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level inside the container, thus achieving clear indication of the liquid level. .
Magnetic flap level gauge common faults and causes
1. The display panel is abnormal.
The causes of this failure are usually the following:
The gap between the flap and the guide rail is unreasonable or too small, resulting in excessive friction and the flap is not turned over; the distance between the display panel and the float is too large, and the driving force of the magnetic steel of the float is insufficient, so that the flap does not flip; The magnetic steel in the sheet is too small or the magnetic force disappears, causing the flap to not flip or flip abnormally;
Impurities such as water or dust penetrate into the display panel, making it difficult to flip the flap;
If the ambient temperature is too low, the medium will freeze and the float will not move. The flap cannot display the liquid level normally.
2, the local display is normal, the remote transmission display is not normal
In general, there are several reasons for this failure:
The domestic glass tube reed switch is fragile, and the reed switch is short-circuited or open circuit, which may cause remote transmission abnormality;
Resistance soldering;
The metal contact gap of the reed pipe is very small. When the temperature of the medium is too high, the metal foil expands when it is heated, and the closed state is prone to occur; the pressure exceeds the rated value, resulting in damage to the switch.
3, remote transmission and magnetic flaps do not move
This type of failure is usually caused by a float abnormality and has the following two manifestations:
Phenomenon 1: The float is stuck, causing the display panel to be incorrect.
Failure analysis:
The float in the magnetic flap level gauge is stuck, usually for several reasons:
When the float is used for a period of time, the float may get stuck due to the presence of impurities and cannot rise or fall; the installation angle of the float is less than 87 degrees, causing tilting, affecting the up and down movement of the float; the float absorbs iron filings or other due to its own magnetic properties. The dirt causes it to get stuck; the ambient temperature is too low, causing the medium to freeze and the float to move.
Phenomenon 2: The float is damaged, causing the display panel to be incorrect.
Fault Analysis: The float in the magnetic flap level gauge is damaged, usually for the following reasons:
Because the strength of the float is not correct, it will become concave and sag when it is under pressure; there will be no penetration or leakage welding at the weld, which will cause the weld to crack when the float is under pressure, and the float will enter the water; the float will be used for a long time or long time. When used, demagnetization occurs, resulting in unusable; the magnetic steel in the float is loose, causing the float to fail to work.
The above are some common faults of the magnetic flap level gauge. We also summarize the causes of these faults. Of course, if you encounter other faults when using the magnetic flap level timer, do not disassemble the machine at this time. In order to avoid damage to the machine, it is necessary to promptly contact the corresponding manufacturer to find the corresponding problem and deal with it in time.
