New Ripple Filler Improves Rectification Efficiency

Pingxiang Chetian Industrial Porcelain Co., Ltd. of Jiangxi Province has recently developed a high-efficiency new valley peak regular corrugated packing and officially put into production. The filler was tested by the National Key Laboratory of Distillation at Tianjin University, and its use effect was much better than traditional ceramic fillers.

At present, ceramic corrugated packing is mostly used for distillation separation columns, and the separation effect is not ideal. High-efficiency new valley peak regular corrugated packing is composed of a single corrugated ceramic plate interleaved and superimposed and combined to form a filler body. Each of the corrugated ceramic plates has protrusions spaced apart, and grooves are respectively provided at the tops of the protrusions and at the bottoms of the peaks, and through holes are formed in the grooves. The grooves are arranged in a staggered manner to form a cellular hole structure inside the filler body. Due to the increase of the porosity of the packing, when the liquid rectification is separated, the flow resistance in the corrugated packing is reduced, the flow dispersion is in a turbulent state, and when the liquid rectification is separated, the water point formed in the interior of the corrugated packing per cubic meter is analyzed. The number of times more than 450,000 times more than the existing corrugated filler can improve the tower efficiency of 30% to 50%.
