The relevant dynamic test methods and technical requirements for side impact will appear for the first time in the forthcoming mandatory national standards for vehicle safety. Experts in the industry believe that "the occupant protection in side impact of a car" mainly emphasizes the structural strength and internal safety of the car. It is reported that the nine standards that will be issued soon have already been submitted for approval. When they are issued, they need to be reviewed by the National Standards Committee.
