Our country produces high vinyl polybutadiene rubber

The ideal plastic high-polyvinyl polybutadiene rubber for producing high-performance tires, etc., has its preparation technology and production technology already grasped by researchers in China. A few days ago, the “Key Technology Research on the Preparation of High-Vinyl Polybutadiene Rubber” of the National 863 Program, jointly researched by CNPC Changchun Yinghua Institute and CNPC Natural Gas Co., Ltd., passed the acceptance of experts.
High vinyl polybutadiene rubber is a high-performance rubber with both low rolling resistance and good wet skid resistance. It is one of the ideal rubber compounds for the manufacture of high-performance tires, green tires, and aircraft tires. With the rapid development of the number of expressways and cars, the demand for this type of rubber is increasing. However, the preparation of high-vinyl polybutadiene rubber has the problems of high catalyst production costs and the need for low-temperature polymerization, which seriously restricts the industrialization process.
After more than three years of unremitting efforts, researchers at Changchun Yinghua Institute developed a new type of iron-based complex catalyst with independent intellectual property rights and used this catalyst to produce high-vinyl polybutadiene rubber to form a 40-liter continuous polymerization production process. Successfully synthesized high vinyl polybutadiene rubber with Mooney viscosity in the range of 60-80 and vinyl content greater than 80%. The rubber has the characteristics of low cost and high performance, and breaks through the technical problems that the iron-based catalyst has low polymerization activity and stereoselectivity, requires low-temperature polymerization, and is difficult to realize industrialization. Without increasing the cost of environmental protection, the production cost is equivalent to the cost of nickel-based butadiene rubber. Compared with lithium-based catalytic systems, the cost of solvent refining is lower, the polymerization conditions are mild, and no additives or regulators are used, which is more suitable for large-scale industrial production.
The test shows that the conversion rate of the raw material reaches more than 90%; the high ethylene polybutadiene vulcanizate compounded with the national standard formulation and vulcanization process has a tensile strength of 300% higher than 10 MPa, tensile strength higher than 18 MPa, and elongation at break. The rate is higher than 420%. The performance of the pilot test products has surpassed that of foreign industrial products, and the solvents and monomers used are the same as those of nickel-based butadiene rubber, which has broad market and application prospects.

During the crushing processing, the material that soaked up lots heat from the frictional movement of material being crushing and the wall of container will be going to become semi-plasticizing state. The particles will stick with each other due to the function of plasticization. Before it sticks each other completely, the cold water pre-prepared is sprayed into the material being crushed. The water will be evaporated off quickly and the surface temperature of material being crushed drop down quickly also. So the material being crushed will become small particles or granules. It is easy to recognize the particles by different size and can be colored by using of color agent being putted into the container during the crushing processing.
