Electromagnetic Flowmeter


Electromagnetic flowmeter is a kind of velocity meter that measures the volume flow of conductive medium. It is a kind of flowmeter commonly used in industrial fields such as metallurgy, papermaking, drainage and sewage treatment. Compared with other flowmeters, it has obvious advantages, and the electromagnetic water meter is designed for the water industry to meet the urban water supply to ensure accurate water fee calculation. It is mainly used to measure the volumetric flow of conductive liquid in closed pipelines. The external installation environment has certain requirements and is widely used in places where there is no power supply on site, such as raw water, water supply, sewage treatment, water conservancy engineering and other industries. The specific requirements are as follows:
1. The split type electromagnetic flowmeter should be installed in places where the temperature changes greatly or is subject to high temperature radiation from the equipment. If it must be installed, it must be insulated and ventilated.
2. The flowmeter should be installed indoors. If it must be installed outdoors, it should avoid rainwater pouring, flooding and sun exposure, and must have moisture and sun protection measures.
3, the flow meter should be avoided in the environment containing corrosive gases, must be installed, there must be ventilation measures.
4. In order to facilitate installation, maintenance and maintenance, there must be sufficient installation space around the flowmeter.
5, the flowmeter installation site should avoid magnetic field and strong vibration source, such as the pipe vibration is large, there should be fixed pipe support on both sides of the flowmeter.

1. It is suitable for measuring liquid-solid two-phase fluids containing solid particles or fibers, such as pulp, coal water slurry, slurry, mud and sewage.
2. The volumetric flow measured by the electromagnetic flowmeter is virtually unaffected by fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity.

4. The requirements for the front straight pipe section are lower.
5, the diameter range is wider than other types of flow meters, from a few millimeters to 3m. The forward and reverse bidirectional flow can be measured, and the pulsating flow can also be measured.
6. The electromagnetic flowmeter has a large measuring range, usually 20:1~50:1, and the optional flow range is wide. The full-scale liquid flow rate can be selected within 0.5~10m/s.
