Cooper Tire cooperates with the Quality Inspection Association to launch an initiative for integrity

Recently, Cooper tires, a global tire replacement specialist, and the China Quality Inspection Association jointly launched the 2010 National Quality Month "Enterprise Quality Integrity Initiative." Cooper Tire participates in this activity, aiming to improve the quality level, provide quality products, adhere to quality, and practice social responsibility.

The National "Quality Month" campaign was jointly initiated by six ministries and commissions such as the AQSIQ, with a focus on vigorously implementing the strategy of "winning with quality", focusing on improving corporate awareness of quality responsibility, and conducting a series of activities jointly with outstanding typical enterprises across the country. In late October of 2010, the organizers of the “Quality Month” event in China held the “17th China Quality Forum” in Chengdu, and conducted extensive and in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as corporate quality integrity .

Cooper Tire, which has nearly 100 years of history, is the second-largest listed tire company in North America. Since it was formally announced in April 2006 to enter the Chinese market, it has been committed to providing Chinese consumers with quality replacement tire products and perfect services. In order to better fit the needs of Chinese consumers, Cooper Tire established the Cooper Tire Asia Pacific Technology Center in Shanghai in June 2008 to support the development and testing of the Chinese market and export overseas products. Cooper Tire's efforts have also been greatly recognized by Chinese consumers. In the past few years, Cooper Tire has developed more than 500 retail stores in China and maintains an annual growth rate of about 20%. Cooper Tire has always been committed to providing consumers with the highest quality products and the most complete services, guiding quality consumption, building quality integrity, and striving to create a market environment for consumers to safeguard their interests.

In this quality month event, Mr. Alex Koi, General Manager of Cooper Tire China, stated that: As a leader in the global replacement tire market, Cooper tires have been strictly in accordance with international production standards and have been continuously improving after-sales service. System to protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. While improving the quality of tires, Cooper Tire also actively promotes the concept of green environmental protection. From the tire formulation, product design, production process to the final product use, Cooper's unique “Green Way” is being practiced. At the same time, Cooper also hopes that through quality month activities, it can appeal to more companies to improve product quality and practise quality commitments for consumers.

The Intra-Oral Camera makes going to the dentist easier for both the patient and the dental health provider. Offices that use intra-oral cameras allow patients to be more interactive in the exam process, which provides patients with a greater sense of understanding and responsibility about personal dental health. Although a traditional visual inspection of the teeth may have sufficed in the past, technology has made it possible for dentists and patients to reap many more benefits from each health exam.

In a nutshell, an intraoral camera is a small video camera that takes an X-ray of the outside of the gum or tooth. The intraoral camera resembles an oversized pen and although usage varies depending on the model-type, this image-taking device is typically outfitted with a disposable protective sheath for each new patient. While simultaneously viewing a monitor, the dentist inserts the camera into a patient's mouth and gently shifts it about so that images can be taken from a variety of angles.

First used in the early 1990s, the intraoral camera is still a relatively new piece of dental equipment. Not so long ago, only a handful within the dental community used this tiny camera to take pictures of the teeth and gums. Today, use of the intraoral camera is widespread. For those dentists who do use this device, the intraoral camera has been, and continues to be, extremely handy both in diagnosing dental conditions such as tooth decay and cracked teeth and in educating you, the patient.

It's not difficult to understand why many patients have misgivings about dental diagnoses that aren't accompanied by pain or any visual cues that the naked eye can see. Since the intraoral camera is used in tandem with a computer screen or television monitor, your dentist can easily show you, in real-time, if you have a fractured tooth need gum disease treatment. In the case of the intraoral camera, a picture may be worth more than a thousand words!

The intraoral camera is especially useful during dental restoration procedures. For example, if you were to have an amalgam tooth filling replaced with a composite resin filling, your dentist could use the intraoral camera to take "before and after" pictures and display the results simultaneously for you to see!

In addition to being a great diagnostic tool, the intraoral camera is a fantastic educational aid. Instead of merely explaining to you what's happening inside your mouth, your dentist can actually show you. And, unlike conventional X-ray images that require processing time, there is no development time associated with intraoral cameras: The immediately available images that this tool renders can be a great time-saver for both you and your dentist.
