This just came in from Tim Olk. It’s a pretty serious incident involving the Berkeley Fire Department. There was a fatal accident on Highway 1 near 290 EB at St. Charles Road. I’m still piecing together all the details, but it seems like there was a collision involving some large trucks and a car. From what I can gather so far, things are looking quite bad.
Take a look at these photos Tim took. You can see the extent of the damage; it’s pretty intense. This kind of situation is always tough to handle, especially when you have emergency responders on the scene. The logistics for an EMS plan must be complex given the size of the vehicles involved.

There are a couple more shots here as well. As you can see, the wreckage is extensive, and it’s going to take some time to sort everything out. I’ll keep you updated as I learn more about any road closures or further developments.
