This marks the fourth major fire they've dealt with in just four days, along with several smaller incidents that were managed by the still alarm teams. Engine 1 arrived on the scene to discover flames in the basement, prompting Battalion 11 to call for a full still response. Mutual aid was provided by units from Homer, Lemont, East Joliet, and even an ambulance from NW Homer.
Mike mentioned this ongoing strain on resources, highlighting how challenging it's been to keep up with the frequency of these emergencies.
