As of May 28, the West-East Gas Pipeline on the Huaiwu River has accumulated a total of 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas for safety in the two lakes.

This year, the gas transmission capacity of the Huaiwu Pipeline continues to increase. It is reported that currently two-thirds of the natural gas in the two lakes is supplied by the West-East Gas Pipeline Huaiwu. This year, the pipeline will complete the task of distributing 1.194 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is equivalent to 80% of the designed capacity of the Huaiwu pipeline.
