On November 1, Clariant, the world’s leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals, announced that its ethoxylation plant in Daya Bay, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, was officially put into production. This is the first ethoxylation plant that Clariant has established in Asia.
The Huizhou plant has invested 51 million U.S. dollars and has an annual output of nearly 50,000 tons, which is part of Clariant's special industrial and consumer goods business segment. This segment is the largest of Clariant’s 10 business segments, accounting for 21% of Clariant’s share.
The plant's high-pressure reactor laboratory can help it quickly adapt to customers. The high-pressure reactor is a chemical reactor used for the reaction between gas and liquid or gas and gas, and can produce various chemical structure products in a short time. The products mainly satisfy the local supply of the Chinese market.
