7. All moving elements of the compensator shall not be jammed or restricted by the external components. The normal movement of the active parts shall be ensured.
8. In the hydrostatic test, the secondary fixed pipe rack equipped with the end of the compensator pipe should be reinforced so that the pipeline does not move or rotate. For the compensator used in gas media and its connecting pipe, pay attention to whether it is necessary to add a temporary support when filling water. The 96 chloride ion content of the hydrostatic test water washing solution does not exceed 25 PPM.
9. After the hydrostatic test is completed, the water in the shell should be drained as soon as possible and the inner surface of the shell should be blown dry quickly.
10. The insulation material in contact with the compensator bellows shall not contain chlorine.
