World Pump King Yangwei "the world's largest" span double-deck suspension bridge

On the construction site of Wuhan Yangshuo Port Yangtze River Bridge, the world's largest span double-deck suspension bridge, the figure of Sany equipment is particularly eye-catching. In this super project, there are 4 tow pumps, 3 pump trucks, 2 mixing stations and more than 10 mixer trucks.

The Yangshuo Port Yangtze River Bridge is an important hub project connecting Wuhan's three towns. The main span of the bridge is about 1,700 meters. The upper layer is designed as a city expressway and the lower level is the main road. It is currently the world's largest span double-deck suspension bridge.

The concrete pumping of the tower columns is a difficult point in the construction of the bridge. To this end, Sany R & D personnel tailored two ultra-high pressure tow pumps with an outlet pressure of 35 MPa for the bridge. During the construction, the one-time pumping height of Sany “Pump King” reached 240 meters, and the pumping task of the main pier was successfully completed.

In the anchor construction, two Sany 180 mixing stations are continuously operated for 48 hours, ensuring that the amount of each pouring is more than 6000 square meters, which effectively guarantees the continuous pouring quality. In addition, the bridge deck, pavement pouring and concrete transportation work of the project are also responsible for the Sany pump truck and mixer truck equipment.

During the construction of the project, Sany also arranged a number of service personnel to be stationed, and lived with the construction party to ensure that there was no leakage during the construction process.

Due to its outstanding performance in construction quality, efficiency and stability, Sany equipment was unanimously recognized by field personnel.
