Saturday, August 6th, 2023 marks the 14th Annual Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show, a highly anticipated event that brings together enthusiasts and professionals from across the region. This year's show will take place at Mooseheart, IL, famously known as "The Child City," located right at the intersection of Route 31 and Mooseheart Road, just north of North Aurora. The gates open for vehicle registration at 8 AM, while the general public can start enjoying the festivities at 10 AM. Admission is completely free, offering a fantastic opportunity to explore a variety of engaging demonstrations by local public safety agencies.

On Friday, August 5th, 2023, don't miss out on the exciting Lights and Sirens Parade and Emergency Vehicle Cruise Night. The parade gets underway at 7 PM sharp, starting its journey from the Tinsletown Theater on Route 31 in North Aurora. It culminates at Clocktower Plaza at Oak Street and Randall Road, marking the beginning of the annual North Aurora Days festival. Following the parade, participants can unwind during the Emergency Vehicle Cruise Night and enjoy all the attractions the festival has to offer.
Wrapping up the weekend, the Lights & Sirens Caravan to the Lake in the Hills Police Department’s event takes place on Sunday, August 7th, 2023. The caravan departs at 9 AM from Clocktower Plaza, Oak Street, and Randall Road in North Aurora. The parade starts at 10 AM, leading to the department's Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show where our emergency vehicles gather. Over the last three years, Lake in the Hills PD has been an incredible host, generously accommodating our participation. They even adjusted their schedule this year to ensure our continued involvement. The proceeds from this event support their police Explorer program, and we kindly ask for a donation to help sustain this valuable initiative.
