Fujian will build four major petrochemical industrial bases

Hu Dunan, deputy director of the Fujian Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, recently stated at the 3rd Cross-Strait (Quangang) Petrochemical Industry Development Forum that Fujian Petroleum and Chemical Industry will build Meizhou Bay, Quzhou Gulei and Fuqing during the “12th Five Year Plan” period. There are four bases in Jiangyin, Ningde, and the southern peninsula. By 2015, the annual refining capacity of Fujian Province will strive to reach 30 million tons, and the annual ethylene production capacity will reach 2 million tons.
