The high cost of high-efficiency motors and the unfavorable market conditions have resulted in fewer manufacturers, causing users to have insufficient awareness of high-efficiency motors. This is one of the main reasons.

Motor sales are for three types of customers, namely end users, agents and equipment suppliers. The proportion of its product consumption is 5% for end users and 15% for agents, and 80% for downstream machinery and equipment suppliers. It can be seen that whether the high-efficiency motor can be accepted by the market and the attitude of the machinery and equipment suppliers is the most critical.

Due to factors such as high R&D costs and high manufacturing costs, the prices of highly efficient and energy-saving motors remain high, the market price is 20% higher than that of ordinary motors, and some even exceed 50%, resulting in many investors having the idea of ​​“saving energy without saving money”. Motors are generally used as backbone products, and are mainly used for supporting such main engines as fans, pumps, and compressors. Most of the host companies and construction projects of mechanical equipment suppliers are not final use. Zhou Shou Lian, chief engineer of Beijing Bijie Electric Plant, said that although high-efficiency motors The price is slightly higher, but as long as the running time is higher than 4,000 to 5,000 hours, the cost can be recovered.

In recent years, the government has also vigorously promoted high-efficiency motors, but the promotion needs to be increased. In a market economy, companies that look short-sighted are all reducing costs and purchasing, which is a contradiction to the high price of high-efficiency motors. Therefore, the promotion of high-efficiency motors also requires politicians, paying more attention to costs than focusing on efficiency, and it is difficult for high-efficiency motor benefits to be conducted to the downstream links. Therefore, the market presents the embarrassment of “being applause”. The government departments have issued mandatory policies and increased enforcement. They also need to be promoted by scientific research institutes.
