Check out the attached photos from the Daily Chronicle. It's about the "Collyers Mansion" fire that happened on October 26, 2016. It was a general alarm call with a lot of challenging work from the exterior due to poor interior conditions. Only three people could be on the second floor at a time, which made things more difficult. Still, it was a good response overall.

Firefighters were called to 974 W. State St. in Sycamore on Wednesday evening after a neighbor spotted smoke coming from the house. Upon arrival, crews saw smoke pouring from the attic of the two-story home, according to Sycamore Fire Chief Pete Polarek. The fire was brought under control within about 30 minutes.
The residents were already outside when firefighters arrived. No one was injured, and the fire caused approximately $40,000 in damage to the property.
The homeowner, Larry Smith, 61, was living in the house with his wife and son. They had recently finished remodeling the home, including replacing the roof and installing new windows just two weeks earlier. Smith wasn’t sure what caused the fire, which appeared to have started in a second-floor bedroom and hallway. He didn’t know where the family would stay that night. The fire, along with the smoke and water damage, left the home uninhabitable.
No injuries were reported, and the Sycamore Fire Department received assistance from crews in DeKalb, Cortland, Hinckley, and Genoa.
