The first one is the Palatine Rural Fire Protection District’s Tender 36, which was manufactured back in 1988 by US Tank. It rides on an HME 1871 chassis and is quite the workhorse, carrying a massive 3,200 gallons of water along with a powerful 1,250-GPM pump. As you can see from the image, it's a solid and reliable piece of equipment that must be invaluable during emergencies. The second vehicle is Rolling Meadows Fire Department’s Engine 16, which is a 2004 model American LaFrance Eagle. This engine is equipped with a 1,500-GPM pump, holding 750 gallons of water and featuring two 30-gallon foam tanks.
