Western China--Highlights of Nonferrous Metal Mining Development

From August 23 to August 25, the 4th China (Western) Nonferrous Metal Mining and Development International Forum sponsored by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Beijing Antaike Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. and China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Geology and Minerals Branch was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China. After the curtain was opened, more than 350 representatives from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Council Western Office, the Ministry of Land and Resources, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government and the Inner Mongolia Land and Resources Department attended the forum.
Around the issues of advantageous resources development, the promotion of economic development in the western region, and the cooperation of non-ferrous metal exploration projects, the participants had a lively discussion. The western region of China is vast in area and rich in resources. Experts have demonstrated that China's proved non-ferrous metal resources account for only one-third of the predicted resources, and two-thirds of the non-ferrous metal resources to be discovered by exploration, most of these resources are distributed in the western region. Therefore, the western region has become a global investment hot spot for geological exploration and mining development.
Gao Dezhu, executive vice president of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, pointed out in the meeting that the increase in demand and prices of non-ferrous metal mineral products has led to a significant increase in the profitability of the non-ferrous metals industry. In the first half of this year, the total output of China's non-ferrous metals was 8,843,200 tons, and it is expected to exceed 18 million tons throughout the year. The sales revenue, profits and taxes will increase significantly, and the profits of enterprises will hit record highs, promoting non-ferrous metal mining companies and geological prospecting property rights. The diversification, thus promoting the development of non-ferrous metal mining.
Luo Tao, Chairman of China Nonferrous Metals Mining Group Co., Ltd. mentioned in the meeting that the “going out” development strategy implemented by the company immediately aroused people’s interest. Everyone was very concerned about the next strategic plan of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group, and who would spend it Family.
At the meeting, some well-known international mining companies and investment companies such as Canadian Tyco Mingke also gave brilliant reports on the development of mining issues.
