This Saturday, March 21st, starting at noon, the Wheeling Professional Firefighters are hosting a St. Baldrick’s event at the White Eagle Convention Center in Niles, Illinois. It’s going to be an incredible day filled with fun, community spirit, and most importantly, raising money for childhood cancer research.
If you’ve ever thought about getting involved or making a difference, now is your chance! Whether you’re ready to take the plunge and shave your head in support, want to lend a hand as a volunteer, or simply feel like donating, every little bit helps. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is truly amazing—they’re a group of passionate volunteers who work tirelessly to fund more research grants for kids battling cancer than almost anyone else in the world, second only to the U.S. government. That’s huge!
Think about it—your contribution could give hope to babies, children, teenagers, and even young adults who are fighting so hard against this terrible disease. Every dollar counts, and being part of an event like this feels like becoming a real-life superhero.
