29 chemical companies in Shanxi painted "green color"

The Shanxi Province Environmental Protection Bureau announced a total of 65 "red and black lists" of environmental enterprises in 2007. Among them, 54 illegal companies were rated as red, 11 severely illegal enterprises were rated as black, and 29 chemical companies were impressive.
Among the 29 chemical companies, 23 companies, including Shanxi Jinzhong Coking Gas Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Yuncheng Salt Chemicals Second Branch Sulfuric Acid Plant, were rated as red due to environmental violations; Xishan Coal & Electricity Group Company's coal gasification company and Taiyuan Chemicals Co., Ltd. Six chemical companies, including the company's coking company, were rated as black because of serious environmental violations.
According to reports, the company's environmental behavior evaluation results are classified into five levels: green (excellent), blue (excellent), orange (basically meeting requirements), red (illegal), and black (seriously illegal), and are listed. Companies rated as red and black will be constrained in many aspects such as loans, project declarations, financing and listing. Companies that have been rated twice as red and black will be subject to heavy treatment and penalties, and will be announced to the public for many years.
For the enterprises rated as red and black, the provincial environmental protection department will implement the following treatment according to law: 1. Listing supervision; 2. Release the deadline for governance decisions; 3. Fines; 4. Releasing pollution permits and other environmental protection permits; 5. Ordered to shut down; 6. Measures such as seizure, seizure, and confiscation of production facilities, equipment, transportation tools, and articles were adopted.
