Experts of Sinopec Organization Acceptance of Major Devices Independent Innovation Project

Following significant progress made in last year's one million tons of ethylene cracker compressors, one million tons of PTA unit-supported dryers, and large-scale air separation equipment, this year, domestic petrochemical major equipment has made new progress in independent innovation and localization. On April 23, the automatic control system of the 5 million-ton refinery unit of Zhejiang Zhongguan Technology Co., Ltd. independently developed, independently designed, and self-built by China was approved by Sinopec Wuhan Branch. This marks a new breakthrough in the localization of large-scale petrochemical plants in China.
Experts from Sinopec Corp. recently performed a localization project for the dehydration reactor of the propylene oxide/styrene cogeneration facility for the Zhenhai ethylene project with a joint commitment by Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Branch, Sinopec Engineering Construction Company, and Jiangsu Zhongsheng High-tech Industry Co., Ltd. Factory acceptance was carried out; at the same time, factory acceptance of the Zhenhai ethylene million unit propylene refrigeration compressor unit project developed by the Shenyang Blower Group was carried out. The unit successfully passed the test in the factory, and all performance indicators met the specified requirements. This unit is the largest propylene refrigeration compressor set in the same type of equipment developed and researched for the first time in China. It has made breakthroughs in design, welding, rotor high-speed balance, etc. The overall technology of the unit has reached the international advanced level.
