Plainfield Fire Protection District responded to a garage fire this morning, on Friday, in the 16400 block of Winding Creek Road. Engine 1941 was the first unit on scene and reported a working fire. From what they could see, the fire was contained to the attached garage. The crews did an excellent job containing the blaze quickly and efficiently. It looks like no one was injured, and the damage was limited to the structure. Great teamwork and response from the firefighters.
