According to the latest report from the first commercial vehicle network, FAW Jiefang Co sold a total of 25,200 medium- and heavy-duty trucks in March, of which heavy truck sales were approximately 22,000, an increase of 42% over the same period of last year. This growth rate, although lower than the 23% increase in January and the 220% year-on-year increase in February, was achieved in the case of a high sales base of 15,500 vehicles in the same period of last year. In the first quarter of this year, cumulative sales of the FAW Jiefang heavy trucks totaled approximately 67,800 vehicles, an increase of 123% year-on-year. The 67,800 vehicles further stabilized the status of liberation as the heavy truck market NO.1, and its 1.2% year-on-year growth rate is also more than the overall growth rate of the industry.
