The screwdriver is a tool for screwing various screws. There are two types of rotary screws commonly used in diesel generators : a slotted screwdriver and a cross slot screwdriver, as shown in the figure below. Screwdrivers are usually made in the form of wooden handles or plastic handles, and their size is customarily distinguished from their length (excluding the length of the handle). There are 50, 65, 75, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400 common specifications for slotted screwdrivers. The diameters of metal rotary rods are 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 7mm. , 8mm, 9mm and lOmm and so on. Cross slot screwdrivers have slightly less specifications than slotted screwdrivers.
In general, the larger the diameter of the metal shaft, the longer the length of the metal shaft to facilitate the use of force. Screwdrivers are used for a wide range of applications. Small screws that are not generally subjected to force (grooves are slotted on a flat surface) are almost always twisted. Its working speed is much faster than various wrenches, and it is not affected by the narrow position of the parts.

1. The width and thickness of the tip (blade) should match the width and thickness of the slot. If the blade is too narrow or too thin, only the two corners of the blade can be used during use. It is easy to break the blade of the screwdriver. If the blade is too thick, the cutting edge cannot fully extend to the bottom of the groove during use, and it is prone to slippage or wringing. The above phenomena should be strictly prevented and must not be used.
2. During use, hold the wooden handle with your right hand so that the arbor is in line with the screw and apply appropriate pressure. Hold the arbor in the left hand to stabilize it. Take care not to hold the work object with your hand to prevent the blade from sliding out and the hand will be scratched.
3, the screwdriver is made of high quality steel, in the manufacturing process, after a proper heat treatment, the surface hardness is high, the internal has the appropriate toughness, in the course of use, generally not easy to wear. If the blade has become wedge-shaped after long-term use, grinding may be performed on the grinding wheel to restore its original sharpness (be careful not to anneal it).
