The Kane County Chronicle recently published an article discussing a potential expansion of the Fox River and Countryside Fire/Rescue District, which could come at the expense of the Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District. According to court documents dated July 17, local voters have petitioned to remove certain land from the Elburn and Countryside district and transfer it to the Fox River district.
Pat Griffin, an attorney representing the Fox River district, explained that the proposed territory is bordered by LaFox Road on the east, Anderson Road on the west, Campton Hills Road on the south, and Empire Road on the north. However, some agricultural land just north of Silver Glen Road is also included in the area under consideration.
Griffin noted that approximately 128 people signed the petition, although the population in the area is estimated to be around 3,000. The petition serves as a way for residents to bring the issue before voters on the November 4 ballot. A judge must review the petition and evaluate several key factors, including whether the new area would receive equivalent fire services from the Fox River district and whether the disconnection would cause significant harm to the Elburn district.
Kane County Circuit Judge David Akemann recently determined that the conditions for the transfer and disconnection were met, as outlined in a court document dated August 28. The Elburn Fire Protection District argued that there was insufficient evidence to show how the disconnection would affect their expenditures, with very little data provided by either side regarding the financial impact.
Only residents within the disputed territory will be eligible to vote on the matter, and a simple majority is required for the process to move forward. The referendum is scheduled to be discussed during a special board meeting of the Fox River district on September 3, 2014, at 7 p.m.
The questions on the ballot are as follows:
- For making the transfer from the Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District to the Fox River and Countryside Fire/Rescue District, remaining liable for a proportionate share of the bonded indebtedness outstanding as of the date of disconnection, if any, of the district from which disconnection is proposed and also assuming a proportionate share of the bonded indebtedness, if any, of the district to which transfer is proposed.
- Against making the transfer from the Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District to the Fox River and Countryside Fire/Rescue District, remaining liable for a proportionate share of the bonded indebtedness outstanding as of the date of disconnection, if any, of the district from which disconnection is proposed and also assuming a proportionate share of the bonded indebtedness, if any, of the district to which transfer is proposed.
Thanks, Dan.
Water Source Heat Pump Air Conditioning
Introduction to GENT Water Source Heat Pump Air Conditioning in the agricultural field
A water source heat pump is a Water To Water Heat Pump that uses natural water as the cooling and heating sources to achieve indoor space cooling and heating, as well as the preparation of cold and hot water.
The common use scenario of water to water geothermal heat pump is buildings that need cooling and heating, such as hospitals, schools, hotels, etc. The only condition that needs to be met for the use of water source heat pumps in these scenarios is that there must be a good quality and sufficient water source around the building where the water source heat pump system is installed for the unit.
Therefore, agricultural scenarios with corresponding needs and that can guarantee corresponding water sources can also use geothermal water to water heat pump, and water source hvac have broad application prospects in the agricultural field, which can effectively save energy, improve production efficiency, and promote sustainable agricultural development.
Water source heating and cooling unit have a wide range of application scenarios in the agricultural field, which can be summarized as follows:
1. Precision irrigation: water source heat pump hvac can supply irrigation water with suitable temperature for agriculture. Using water with suitable temperature for irrigation can effectively control water evaporation, improve irrigation efficiency, and also avoid disease problems caused by excessive water.
2. Temperature control of greenhouse: Water source heat pump can build a constant temperature system for greenhouse. The specific working mode is that the unit produces hot or cold water, and then cooperates with the indoor terminal installed in the greenhouse to maintain the temperature in the greenhouse, providing a temperature-appropriate environment for growing plants.
3. Farms and animal husbandry: In farms, water source heat pumps can provide warm water for animal feeding or for treating sewage circulation systems.
Therefore, water source heat pumps can be used as one of the equipment options for any agricultural scene that requires hot water or cooling water, and its low cost, simple maintenance, and high flexibility make it particularly outstanding among various optional equipment. So, agricultural users with corresponding needs can consider water source heat pumps.
