The 6th China (Changchun) International Automobile Expo will be held at the Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 15th to 26th, in which the Auto Parts Exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Auto Expo. This year's auto parts will be co-sponsored by Jiangsu Colliers Group, Changchun City Council for Promotion of Industry and Changchun Automobile Industry Development Zone Administrative Committee, and will be located in Changchun Gaoli Automobile & Trade City.
“After several sessions of the Auto Expo, Changchun wanted to build Gaoli Automobile Trading City into China's largest distribution center for automotive parts and components,†said Song Lihua. It is reported that at present, Guangdong Province, which is one of the four major automobile production bases in China, is still at the hegemony of domestic auto parts.
Due to historical reasons, the Changchun automobile industry has always had the tradition of “heavy industry and light businessâ€. According to statistics in recent years, among the domestic parts and components purchases, FAW Group's share of the regional share in Changchun is less than 30%, and a large number of auto parts purchases have flowed out to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong provinces.
