Some of the plaintiffs in the Foshan Lighting Securities false statement liability dispute recently applied to the court for execution of the judgment because they did not pay compensation. The court held that Foshan Lighting did not voluntarily fulfill its obligations and decided to file the case. In response, Foshan Lighting today expressed dissatisfaction and raised objections. It is understood that since the second trial of the first batch of investor claims in Foshan Lighting on June 4 this year, 139 plaintiffs have not yet received compensation, and the Guangzhou Intermediate People’s Court issued the “Notice of Implementation†to Foshan Lighting on July 22nd. It is said that since your company has not voluntarily fulfilled its obligations, 139 application executors applied to the court for enforcement, and the court decided to file the case after review. The notice also showed that the court ordered Foshan Lighting to immediately pay compensation of more than 9.2 million yuan and pay an implementation fee of more than 120,000 yuan. In this regard, Foshan Lighting announced today that the company has actively fulfilled its payment obligations since the date of receipt of the judgment. As of July 22 this year, it has received 801 plaintiffs, accounting for 84% of the compensation. Among them, 698 plaintiffs’ compensation has been credited to their corresponding accounts, and 103 plaintiffs’ information is being verified. Foshan Lighting further pointed out that some plaintiffs did not provide bank account information, and therefore could not pay compensation, not the company did not fulfill its liability for compensation. For the notice served by the court, Foshan Lighting expressed dissatisfaction and filed an objection. On June 4 this year, the first batch of investors v. Foshan Lighting Securities false statement case was pronounced in the second instance. The Guangdong Provincial High Court rejected the Foshan Lighting Appeal and upheld the original judgment, ruling that Foshan Lighting compensated the first batch of 955 shareholders for compensation of 60,410,800 yuan. Just one month later, on July 8 this year, the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court ruled that Foshan Lighting had invested about 14 million yuan in another batch of more than 200 investors. According to the plaintiff's attorney's office, the total number of plaintiffs in Foshan Lighting Securities' false statements was 2,749, and the total amount of litigation targets totaled 384.98 million yuan, setting a record for the amount of claims for shareholder claims in recent years.
